Gray is a potential game breaker....get him.
You take talent and worry about where it fits later.
How many WR are we recruiting this year...?
Have my doubts on Gray as Uconn has a very small class and I don't know if Diaco wants two WR in a class of 15. However any chance to beat your top 3 recruiting competitors probably is tempting.
Look at last years class, you will see many end up at other positions. How many WR are we recruiting this year...?
- I just don't see many kids at WR in HS going to OL in college...You take talent and worry about where it fits later.
Three words: Wings. Over. Storrs.- I just don't see many kids at WR in HS going to OL in college...
I know, silly, but lets get some big uglies...
247 Crystal Ball is 100% BC for Gray.I only heard from a relative who lives near JC who knows some of the SPP FB players that KJ was seriously considering Uconn!?! I checked the RU board and seen he was down there Sunday and I was surprised as RU already has many WR's and went to the Crystal Ball link...it had 6 predictions ..3 had UConn...2 of the UConn predictors were RU insiders...3 had BC....I'll lean to the NJ guys knowledge on whats happening..heres where HCBD can earn his bones...anyway we'll know Thursday afternoon!!! Good Luck I hope its UConn. lol...SU thinks its them..lol..no chance.
How many WR are we recruiting this year...?
Ah you beat me to it...rumor around Jersey City has it KJ leaning to UConn over BC and Cuse...RU insiders on 247 CB say UConn!! Thursday announcement!!
Agreed...but who really knows how 17 yr olds think today? UConn needs and can offer instant PT where others can't. HCBD has some catholic school stain too from his ND NJ recruiting connections but Dazzy has stain in NJ too. I really hope he chooses UConn for obvious reasons and going through progressions had to share!! Why bother to even list UConn if they aren't in it? I'm pretty sure RU and SU would've been leaked as most pre commits do even if inadvertantly...tomorrow afternoon we'll know! Shoot I feel sorry for these kids!! Even I feel the pressure..lol...Win or lose your a finalist and means relevance to NJ HS stars. Win Win..Plenty more recruits out there and a few programs can't get them all. This has Boneyard meltdown written all over it. Hopefully he makes the right choice and we can avoid that.
Even Brian Dohn? and 1 other RU insider when I followed the 247 link this morning had it fifty/fifty...6 projections!?!Everyone on 247 has said BC the whole way.
RU just got a commit saying forty per cent U Tenn for unrated Wise HS, Md DB Damon Hayes now after he chose RU hes a 247 3 star recruit? Go figure??247 Crystal Ball is 100% BC for Gray.
BC may have a numbers crunch going on.Everyone on 247 has said BC the whole way.
the crappy part about all of this is that 247 always seem to be right moreso than Rivals or Scout more of the mid level / under the radar type kids (kids that aren't 5 or 4 star recruits)...Everyone on 247 has said BC the whole way.
I don't think anyone is melting down over a single football recruit on June 25th when we only have ~15 schollies to give out anyways. This has Boneyard meltdown written all over it. Hopefully he makes the right choice and we can avoid that.
What are the schools he is deciding between? We are not one correct?
That doesn't include attrition.I don't think anyone is melting down over a single football recruit on June 25th when we only have ~15 schollies to give out anyways.
Now if he commits here and then signs elsewhere come February...
I would think attrition is a very low number at this point looking at next year - either you have bought in or you transferred to Maryland...That doesn't include attrition.
Or got 3 Ds and an Inc. during the season.I would think attrition is a very low number at this point looking at next year - either you have bought in or you transferred to Maryland...
We only have 13 slots to fill as of right now. It's probably more like 16-18 once you factor in transfers and players not returning for their 5th year of eligibility. Either way, the point still stands. No one is melting down over losing a kid that everyone on 247 is predicting will go to BC.That doesn't include attrition.
