UCSB has now eliminated Miami and Louisville with their last two wins

That lost weekend @ UCSB back in March doesn't look so bad now...

Big West baseball teams can be really good. That lost weekend never did look all that bad to me. The Gauchos sounded like a really tough team back in March when they were playing UConn, and Santa Barbara always had a very good RPI throughout the season to match that apparent toughness. Now I find it easy to root for Santa Barbara against the likes of Miami and Louisville.

Looks like the Sun Belt will be adding a champion soon. Congrats to the people at Coastal Carolina. Classic game 3.

By the skin of their teeth... CCU to Sunbelt tomorrow!

Caught game on Westwood One stream on TuneIn. Riveting B9.

Great week for Coastal. DJ winning the US open and now the college baseball world champions.

Of course, Coastal Carolina won it all as a member of the Big South Conference. By the way, Coastal Carolina has shown up on UConn's baseball schedule a few times in recent seasons. The Chanticleers always seem to have a quality baseball team.

Too bad we couldn't add CCU or ODU instead of Tulsa. Would have made great road trips if that would have been possible. I know the timing wasn't right, given that both schools have been slowly stepping up as of recently.

The Sun Belt has decent baseball. Too bad for the Big South.
