From his highlights he looks like a short yardage type back. Could grow into FB as well. A few highlights were on defense as well.

Edit: Wow....I must have watched a 2014 tape because it is night and day to the one above.

Blessed to say I'll be spending the next 4 years at the University of Connecticut. #HuskyUp

Nate is a 6-1 215lb Running Back from Marcus High School in Flower Mound Texas (just outside of Dallas). Other offers from Houston, Kansas, Navy, Army, Illinois, Boise State and ULM,

Very reminiscent of Andre Dixon. North south runner, hard to bring down, nose for the end zone, good blocker, good hands. Great get. Welcome Nate! Hope this starts a new pipeline of talent from here in the DFW area, too.

Welcome to the family Nate!

Welcome to the Dog Pound, Nate!!!

Love the way he isn't shy about initiating contact, and delivering a hit. Put 10 more pounds on him and he could be exactly what this team needs. Great looking get.

see on 247 he has an army & Navy offers (character assessment), a P5 offer (Illinois) and Texas interest (with a recruiter assigned) - This checks all the boxes for me - hopefully Texas doesn't pull the trigger and he signs come February.

Excellent points - he has been vetted by the Naval Academy and Army - that's a bonus in my eyes.

(I know I should be careful about vetting these days)

I swear that we had another recruit from Flower Mound TX.
I recruited from flower mound once... No wait. That had nothing to do with football.

Don't know if spend any time on the WBB side of the house but they were chasing the #1 high school recruit in the country (Lauren Cox) who was from Flower Mound but she ended up committing to Baylor?

Runs a little high. Has some nice wiggle for a larger guy.
upright running style....if they get his center of gravity down and put some bulk on him, he could be a very excellent FB. Good at seeing holes, good on contact, efficient evasive moves. Not break away speed but good for 30-40 yard chunks. great pickup with great potential.

My son plays football in the same district as Flower Mound-Marcus. That's the top division in Texas football. The high schools (grades 9-12) have between 3,000 and 6,500 students.

The Friday Night Lights ... 15,000 people at the games.

Marcus High School is named after Stanley Marcus, founder of Neiman Marcus.

Nice get!!! Runs north-south, shifty between the tackles but doesn't waste a lot of time/movements getting thru the hole.

as stated previously I always get nervous seeing these names rising to the top of the board, especially this guy. saw his name being mentioned with some big programs as of late.
