Wait. Another kicker? We already have one in this class (a punter) and we signed Tarbutt last year. This is a bit odd.

The kid shows a great leg punting and kicking off. He looks like a possession receiver and a red zone jump ball kind of guy. But if you watch closely to the plays that he blocks he decleats several guys throughout the video. I see specials teams added to his ability.

Certainly fits the mold as an athlete.

If we were looking for another kicker, would have liked to see us extend a PWO spot to Dane Borges from Brookfield. Kid didn't miss an XP for two years and his Kickoffs were mostly touchbacks.

He might kick, but this kid looks LEGIT as a WR. GREAT body control and catching technique, long strider, solidly built, good tackling-breaking technique and power.

I can't believe im saying this but kind of reminds of of Geremy Davis' tape.

When looking at this from the perspective of him as a WR recruit it makes much more sense, given we signed Tarbutt last year and already have 2 k on the roster.

Very excited about this kid.

If he never missed and XP I want all 3 guys in that equation! That said Mason looks like a solid athlete and glad to have him.
