Great choice AJ - You're picking a great program that cares for its players, is building a positive, winning program and best of all, UConn is a top 20 national university.

Welcome to the family AJ!

Welcome to the Dog Pound, A.J.!!!

He has stated he will be on the defense side of the ball at either defensive end or outside linebacker.

More good size.

Recruiting: Glades Central’s Ja’kevious Vickers, Oxbridge’s A.J. Garson commit to UConn

I was surprised to read this
"Garson had four receptions for 58 yards and a pair of touchdowns as a tight end while racking up 57 tackles and a pair of sacks as a linebacker. He is No. 22 on the PBGametime Big Board and plans on playing linebacker at UConn.

a 6'6" LB ? Interesting

Need a wingspan measurement :D

The quality of the turf from Garson's highlights and from Vickers is night and day. Small details that can make a player's tape seem great or average. Vickers had fields that had all sorts of clumps of grass sticking up and varying quality turf.

Garson is playing on country club quality turf.

It's more than miles that separate a Palm Beach Academy from the southern swamps of Okechobee in Belle Glades.

Similar mold to Carrezzola.

If nothing else, UConn will be HUGE under Diaco. Almost all of our recruits are larger than their average peers per position

Maybe trying to mold him into the hybrid DE/OLB position??

This is your next Luke Carrezola folks

Totally agree with pantz and drew ... this appears to be Diaco's "CAT" in this recruiting class. We may not see him for 2 more years but it is a pretty clear example of Diaco getting an RKG for his defense.
