With Rhode Island not available, the trend seems obvious.

Based on Mike's tweets last night, I think he might have UConn as high as 7. Pretty fair projection, UConn seems poised to take a step up but not quite into the top 6 level. There's definitely more talent on their roster than all four state schools and Merrimack. The top six are pretty solidified this year as BC, BU, ND, NU, UML, and PC ( in no particular order). There's some opportunity for UConn to sneak in there with some solid play, especially if BC takes a dive after their roster got pillaged by NHL departures. But a 7 spot, octofinals home ice, and a potential run to the Garden with the right QF matchup is a solid target for UConn this year.

The development of the Jr class will make or break this team. If there hasn't been any improvement...especially in S&C then this season could be long and possibly ugly.
