I wonder why Geno did not recruit Kiah G. (a CT kid) and why he's not recruiting another CT PG in 2016? is it because he has players at those positions commited or still recruting and they are higher ranked? Sad to see CT kids that are in the top 35 not be a husky.

A player can be good, but not UCONN good! Geno knows what he wants in a player and I trust his judgement.

Maybe he knows they don't want to stay in state or bench ride & he thinks it'll be a waste of time. Or maybe he is recruiting her and we just don't know??

Tenn is recruiting her if I recall correctly.

Rutgers is also recruiting her, although we, if I recall correctly have only you scholarships for this class, and I still think that Aliyah Jeune will re-commit to Rutgers when it's all said and done. But if Jeune does re-commit, we have only room for one and we're recruiting, and from what I can tell still in the race for both Gillespie & Durr.

Although I'd rather Durr we're loaded with guards, so we need Gillespie more to replace Laney.

South Carolina seems to have dropped off the table. Baylor looks like it's headed towards obscurity, which is a bad indicator of their future recruiting struggle against the University of Texas, Austin.

I'm really surprised.

I think South Carolina will show up and I expect Baylor to be big for 2016. 1 player out of all these uncommitted that I would take is Taylor Murray, speed, defends full court, UNSELFISH pass first PG.

SC already has 12 or 13 players on roster for 2014-15, so it was gonna be a small class no matter what. And they have made the final five for #11 Kyra Lambert. May also be pursuing #20 Caliya Robinson.

Texas is putting together a good roster. I think they can be back as one of the top programs soon.

Geno recruits kids based upon what they can do and who they are...where they are has little to do with it

I want to preface any additional comments I make in this thread by thanking vowelguy for doing all of this for us. It takes a lot of work to do this once, but to do so as often as vowelguy does is a tremendous undertaking.

Vowelguy, I think I speak for the Boneyard (as much as any Dukie can speak for the Yarders*) when I say we truly thank you and appreciate all of your hard work and efforts in gathering, updating, and providing all of this information to us.

Cal verbal Kristine Anigwe skyrocketed to #6 on Blue Star's rankings after U17's. I believe this was the only change made. I imagine this moves Cal up a couple spots or a few.
