Who is doing the recruiting out in Illinois? Thats a couple kids now with offers, plus 2014 signee Diggs if I remember correctly.

Also, from what I can see, he is very athletic/explosive. He gets up field in a hurry and disrupts the backfield. I saw him whiff on quite a few tackles. Kid needs to learn how to wrap up and drive the ball carrier into the ground, but physically I like what I see.

he's playing in my brother-in-law's home town.... Alabama has legit football talent... the guys we had previously did pretty well for us (L. Wilson and Jory Johnson)... even though this kid's from GA, he went the juco route in AL... the further south you go the more football.. Would love to see him in Storrs... I envision a Darren Sproles type player in him.. or... another Larry Taylor... anybody find any video on him yet?

I wasn't nervous in February.......but getting a little itchy now.

BD doing a lot of swinging, but not getting any hits. So far results no different from RE or PP attemps to this point in time.

It's early April. He was given a contract less than 4 full months ago. He has had to hire a coaching staff and save/put together/alter his 2014 recruiting class in the first 2 months. Then create a spring practice plan along with alterations to a new spring game atmosphere. Not to mention take part in all the marketing and PR that comes along with getting his name out to media and local high school coaches. Plan a junior day. Probably put in some work for summer camps over the summer. All with in the first 3 and a half months. I'm sure as much recruiting as possible has been done within the 3 and half months he's been on the job but lets give the guy a break. Lets not expect miracles right away. As he builds relationships with these '15 recruits and gets them in to visit the campus and he talks up UCONN the recruits will come. All these '15 recruits that he has relationships with he has fed them the ND way. It's not like he can just say well I'm at UCONN you should come to UCONN now. He has to sell them on the school and that its the right fit for them.
 
We also have to keep in mind UCONN is not in a P5 conference and is coming off a couple of poor seasons. That is two big strikes amongst 4 star recruits. The key to getting buzz back is winning. That is going to get recruits attention. And the absolute biggest key is the coaching staffs ability to evaluate the 2 and 3 stars.
