One of my Senior Chiefs (big LSU fan), always asks me what the hells going on up at UConn?

They show these crappy records, but get guys drafted and I never have an answer for him

I haven't seen anything posted anywhere about targeting any JUCO's. Those chips tend to fall closer to signing day or later in the recruiting season IIRC in years past.

I counted each one so yes we do have more pro's than Rutgers and even with BC
 
I'll have to take your word for it Rutgers. They have about a half dozen on the pats alone.

I'm guessing Diaco will not go after any of these "short term fixes" as he wants to mold these young men into his spitting image and thinks his 5 year contract gives him the security and time to do so. His fellow assistant coach from the ND days thought he had the same time and used that gameplan at UMass, and after failing miserably was about to go that route before he got canned. I'm willing to make the usual bet Mortimer that we do not go after any JUCO's while maybe we get one or two grad transfers at best.
 
I'm pretty sure Diaco has said something about not taking any JUCOs. Of course, he would probably have to reconsider if he misses on some targets.
 
According to Rivals, Raby didn't get an offer during his visit but the staff will go down to Florida to visit him in December.
 
Tyler Davis is now a 3 star according to Rivals. The class of 2015 has a total of four 3 stars now. Diaco has shown the ability to find talent and not following the "star" status on these so called specialty recruiting websites.

Kevin Murphy was a 2 star athlete when he committed to UConn before being bumped up to a 3 star.
Tyraiq Beals was a 0 star athlete when he committed to UConn before being bumped up to a 3 star.
Tyler Davis was a 2 star athlete when he committed to UConn before being bumped up to a 3 star
 
Just like that, Tyler Davis became a better player. I'm kidding. I'm hoping this kid provides competent play at the position in the near future.

No mention of future UConn visit though via on of the other sites - looks like Wake Forest (1/16), San Diego State (1/23), Washington State, Syracuse, UCF and Penn State.

Judging by Matt Schdsagbfbfyny(spelling...) tweets to him, Lanier has been on the UConn radar since at least September.
