I see rivals has us offering 6'3 340lb DT Marcus Brown out of Naples FL as well... Would be nice to have him and Blackwell clogging the middle for us and put Murphy on strongside when we switch to a 4-3 look ... Murphy would / could probably play NG on obvious passing downs

What was interesting in TOS article is he has held the offer since just after he visited in the spring...

Gotta wonder how many other "offers" are hanging out there...

Tough to find offer info on him. Rivals has him having offers from UConn, Florida Int, Miss St, and Temple but nothing on any of the other sites.

At the very least it is cool to see HS athletes openly say they want a particular school to be interested. Definitely a good sign even with Uconn's well known struggles the past few years. This has to make one think the public perception of Uconn amongst HS athletes has either remained positive or has improved with the new staff.
 
Dave Tolentino isn't being recruited by UConn. Only by Navy, UMass, and Yale. Likely to land at Navy.

Austrian Robinson has once again named Maryland as his favorite/leader. He has officials set up to UCF and Maryland in December as well as already taking an official to Purdue. So he has two officials left.

He probably already plays in a stadium as big if not bigger than ours anyways and deals, that along with the football rich Texas tradition... excites me about this kid... He'd come in here and compete from day one... dealing with pressure at the most important position on the field is paramount for us going fwd...

Man it would be nice to see higher ranked kid like Christian Wilkins decide to take that lead role (the way Dan O did back in the day), stay in state, even though he could easily go to a more established program, and commit to UCONN and help get us back on track and beyond... just sayin...It'd be nice to see a kid of that caliber make that type of decision... Lead....
