6-3 325lb OL from Hoboken NJ. Other offers from ECU, Iowa State and Buffalo so far.




Struggled where to put/color Griffin last night. He was a Rutgers commit when we offered the other day. The others in "red" had UConn offers then committed.

2015 Mint Hill (NC) Rocky River DB Jaire Alexander @No_pariah picked up scholarship offer No. 15 today from #UConn

Alexander is a 5-11 170lb CB from Rocky River HS in Mint Hill NC (outside Charlotte). Besides his "commitment" to Charlotte, he has others offers from Ball State, Louisville, Temple, JMU. Marshall, Georgia Southern, Toledo, and Furman.

From a recently published article:

I have no issue if the staff hands out an offer to one of these 4 and 5 stars being recruited by all the top schools. I have a problem if the allot a significant amount of time recruiting them.

The staff needs to be focusing on evaluating players that are within the teams reach. And being able to secure a commitment from under recruited players who can develop into 4 and 5 stars before they leave Storrs. Randy Edsall and staff did a very good job at this. Jury is still out on Coach P.

We need to be present in certain areas and with certain high schools. You can't just walk in every few years and say we're here who wants to play P6 in New England
