Very good pursuit and closing speed. Can really chase down the opposing player. Needs to get stronger at point of attack, but that is what the weight room is for. This is the type of athlete I love. Great frame, highly athletic.

Of the defensive big man in this class, this kid appears to have a great combination of size, speed and strength. Looks like he can be a terror on the DL.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if Okounam's father was in the (Canadian?) diplomatic corps.

The kids UConn lands are amazing! One All-American girls high school player in Geno's 2015 class is the granddaughter of a diplomat from Sierra Leone who was involved 50 years ago in the negotiations with Great Britain to secure his country's independence from the British Empire!
