IMO duke gets too much love for their home court advantage, Kansas is bananas

I've almost left them out of my r/collegebasketball rankings like three times because they're so far down in all of the advanced metrics.
Keep seeing this season for PC being compared to UConn's Shabazz and Kemba seasons (mainly due to Kris Dunn, of course), but I wonder if PC has the defensive capabilities that UConn had those years.

As bad as Rodney Purvis is at free throws, Isaiah Briscoe is so much worse. 18/53 on the season for 34% overall. Best game from the line he had was going 5/8 (62.5%) against UCLA.

That's the main reserve I have with PC as well. Tough not to imagine where they could be if Paschal didn't transfer.

Wow. That's R.J. Evans territory. It seems impossible that a highly touted guard like him could be so bad at the line.

In other news, a couple interesting games for UConn to monitor tonight: Iowa State @ Texas and Maryland @ Michigan.

He's also a horrible 3P shooter at 18%. His TS% on the season is .466. Ooph.

Weird considering this line from his evaluation on ESPN: "his primary value is that of a scorer"

Michigan leads Maryland by eight at halftime, sans LeVert. Texas is up 11 on Iowa State at half.

"His primary value, is that he will be attending Kentucky" -ESPN

FTFY

Well, Michigan won, that's nice. Texas beat Iowa St., woo-hoo.

I know this is probably about the millionth comment lamenting the disastrous effects CR has had on our beloved UConn Huskies, but I really miss the days when we didn't have to so closely monitor our opponents outcomes. I yearn for the time when we just had to worry about what was in front of us knowing that if we took care of business we'd be alright.

We wouldn't be worrying at all if we took care of business.

Beat Gonzaga and beat Temple and UConn is fine.

ND upsets Duke in Cameron. Baby Ted Cruz looked like he was going to cry.

Kentucky is awful. They are literally a 2 man team.

Reid suspended 4 games. Issues an apology.

I have been watching Alec Peters a lot this year. Very very impressive player. On the mid-major side of things who would you take first Alec Peters or Shawn Long? What are your thoughts? Tough call but slight edge Peters.
