2015-16 Captains

Have Captains been named yet? I would think it's safe to assume Brimah is elected since he was as a Sophomore. But after that there's lots of options. Personally, I'd love to see Calhoun named since he's been thru so much and could potentially get the most out out of him on the court if he's relied on in a leadership capacity. Regardless - I still see him leading by example and playing big minutes.

Brimah is the only confirmed captain at the moment.

My guess is AB and maybe Purvis - Calhoun is a nice idea BUT will KO overlook the problems during the early season tournament last year?

That's too bad. I like to see the seniors be captains. Remember that OC and PN came into UConn knowing they'd be on a team that was barred from the postseason their freshman year. They've also stuck around when they could've easily left for what, in terms of playing time, may have been seen as greener pastures.

Can't imagine a scenario where Purvis and Brimah aren't captains. I would be a little surprised if Hamilton got the nod over Nolan.

I would be shocked if Rodney isn't a captain.

From everything I know Rodney deserves it.
