Big Stanley dominated the competition at the Pangos Showcase event yesterday. He pretty much carried his team (from Open Gym - a training facility) to victories over two very good established club teams, SDA pump-n-run & Pangos elite (a branch of Belmont Shore). He was hitting from all over the floor (many threes, drives, dunks, you name it...). Unfortunately, the rumor in the crowd was that he wanted to stay close to home for College. So, it looks like UConn is an unlikely choice.

I believe we possibly have a family connection though. I remember seeing that his family really likes and knows Ollie or his family.

I suppose that is possible (and I hope you are right). Last I heard, Stanley simply said he would seriously "listen" to Ollie. One potential complicating issue is that Stanley's Mom has been ill and in the hospital. I am not sure how serious, but that might (emphasis on "might") play a role in keeping him in the west. Don't get me wrong, I would love to Stanley a UCONN uniform.
