Just 5 players in the top 150 remain.

_1_ F A'ja Wilson ..... SC 6'3"
_15 F Shakayla Thomas . AL 5'11"
_65 W Kia Nurse ....... ON 5'11"
127 F De Ashia Jones .. NJ 6'0"
136 W Chandler Smith .. WA 6'1"

Since last month:
  • UCLA holds its strangle grip on #1
  • Louisville adds its 5th player to move to #2
  • Some improved rankings for UConn allows it squeak ahead of Ohio St
  • Hot shot debut: South Carolina enters at #7
  • Also, USC enters at #12, Pitt at #19, St Johns at #24
  • Tenn jumps 14 to 8 and Stanford 21 to 14

Do you have an updated combined top 100? (since Bluestar updated)

Rumor is Shakayla Thomas will follow Jatarie White to South Carolina.

And then there were 4 as Thomas commits to Florida St, moving the Seminoles up to #21 class.

Among the big 7 conferences, ACC still the big winner, but the SEC has come on.

The points column below shows the average points per team in the conference.

Cnf .... Pts .. t50 . t100 . t150 . t200
ACC .... 954 ... 14 .. 28 ... 34 ... 38
SEC .... 798 ... 11 .. 22 ... 28 ... 33
PAC .... 776 ... 11 .. 15 ... 22 ... 25
B10 .... 647 .... 5 .. 17 ... 26 ... 32
B12 .... 512 .... 4 ... 7 ... 12 ... 16
BgE .... 340 .... 1 ... 5 ... 10 ... 14
AAC .... 284 .... 3 ... 3 .... 6 .... 8

OtherConf ....... 0 ... 1 .... 8 ... 23
Unsigned ........ 1 ... 2 .... 4 ....11

The AAC is helped a little by the fact that some of the teams (like USF) have gone the international or JUCO route, and those players arent included in my ranks. But still grim for our new conference. Temple, Cinci, Memphis, SMU, and UCF each got one top-200 kid.

How can we not be interested in De Ashia Jones?
Wouldn't that be confusing?
