This is the time of year for fearless armchair analysis and bold prognostications. Here are my thoughts. Fire away.

1) Kiah Stokes will finish top 10 in the nation in both rebounds and blocks, taking her place in the Husky single season record book in both categories.
She has always been confident on the defensive end, on offense not so much. Perhaps it was passivity or undistinguished practice habits, but Geno has not really trusted her despite good RPM and BPM numbers - until last year's NCAA tourney, where she had a breakthrough. She doesn't pass & pick like Stephanie, but she will be a force this year.

2) Moriah Jefferson will challenge for 1st team All American honors. Drive to excel, lightning quickness (she can stop the ball & steal it at midcourt), confidence in a leadership role & especially her outside shot - she is fun to watch and ready to dominate.

3) Morgan Tuck - rugged close-in (reminds me of Paul Silas on the old Celtics), hasn't starred on offense to date, but Geno loves her & who am I to disagree. She will be an essential role player.

4) Kaleena will step it up. #1 out of HS, she now wants to prove her WNBA draft bona fides. And she will.
Say, along with Stewart, that's 3 potential 1st team All Americans - wow!

5) Saniya Chong was somewhat tentative & reluctant (understandably for a freshman) but she is a lights out
shooter, & if she improves like Moriah did between years 1 and 2....look out.

6) Natalie Butler - not a Husky returnee, but I add her because she is so important in coming years. A full year of practice experience (and for Geno, practice is where it happens) + 3 years of eligibility. Fans were
worried about a big hole in the post position in 2015-2016. Worry no more.

Solid prognostication! Let's add some numbers to your narrative.

Kiah = points 8, rebounds 8, blocks 3, Assists 3, TO 2, PF 3, mins 24
Stewie 20 7 2.5 4 2 2 25
KML 18 6 .5 3 2 2 22
Morgan 15 6 1 3 2 2 20
MoJet 11 3 1 8 2 2 25
Saniya 8 1 .25 3 2 2 20

80 31 8.25 20 12 13 136

The Husky puppies will add 10 - 15% more on each statistical category resulting in another undefeated season and 10th Championship!

Wooo - you go, JimD - join the fearless prognosticators such as Alex, David in Naples, TonyC.....and others it's too early for me to mention as I have not finished my coffee. Keep 'em coming and do not fear any disagreement that may come your way. (You may want to check for sarcasm and emoticons, however, as part of the assimilation process.). We' re not the Borg, but we are a collective of sorts. Resistance is futile.

Thanks for sharing this good work. I do a lot of quant work & am a stat maven - I didn't inc. stat projections (as a new member, I'm sensitive about going on too long) but I did give it some thought. Metrics flow from methodology, and I would like to compare our numbers given how they are derived. Interested?

If Morgan Tuck averages 20 minutes per game for the entire season, it will be like Secretariat at the Belmont Stakes x 40.

There are better odds of Geno and Muffet getting together for Thanksgiving dinner than there are that Stewart, Jefferson, and K-Lew average just 72 minutes between them.
