@thc hits the blunt and reads my posts. be honest man, when your high how funny are my rants?

what u just talked about has nothing to do with what i was talking about. this is the typical problem here. ppl are tied of me questioning things. but none of u want to talk about the substance of the issues. blue glasses...

honestly think about what u just wrote. i am questioning the last game of the year on the schedule vs memphis vs a ruty or lville and the argument is the game being on tv sny vs a espn/abc type because of the special weekend that it is. you then counter that by complaining that i am to much to handle and then tell me about coaches who wont coach here and how great p is. do u see how left field u are right now????? this is the problem. u have no clue whats good or bad or a issue or not. u just have blue glasses on and everything is groovy in your little world.

if u started a thread about christmas and you were complaining that the holiday should be a bit longer for the local middle school and then i responded to that complaint by telling u to quit bitching and then tell u that staples is moving into the empty store next to walmart in my town. wouldn't u look at me and say wtf??? thats what your doing and its crazy to think u in your mind are winning arguments or doing the program right by wearing blue galsses. if no one questions or see the ad for what it is, then uconn will never rise. they pay attnetion here a lot more than u think and they laugh at ppl who dont see things. they dont laugh at me. they are extremely pissed at me becuase i go on and on talking about things they dont want to talk about. they just pray i never get a real life drug test and then have to fall back to writing for some newspaper one day on a beat.

i can give u many examples of them listening here. from the top of the rent lining to block the wing to the student section signs and so on. u ignoring issues doesn't help this school.

i look forward to u responding to this by telling me that your going to to get some dead nfl coach from 1936 to coach here....

The schedule is made with the detail by detail approval of ESPN. If we don't end the season with what you think should be a big game it is because ESPN disagrees with you. The in conference schedule is not set by Uconn

Please go away. You have become far more insufferable than a providence or Syracuse troll.

Looking forward to the Coaching Hot Seat game after the bye. Plenty of press drama. Will Edsel ever coach in the BiG? Will the loser get their walking papers at Seasons end? Did the BiG take the right team?

Sent from my Lumia 920 via Windows 8. Now bite me Apple Droids.

and what we just lay down and said fine memphis it is? we couldnt tell espn thanks for the past ten years of CR now fix the schedule to help us out? i bet when the other teams schedule come out they are all playing each other and its just somehow a bad bounce of the ball that the 1 dreg in the league next year somehow uconn ended up with on the 1 weekend where abc and espn are looking for content. lville, ruty, cincy, uh, smu, usf, ucf and temple. we got memphis. it amazes me that this fanbase has gotten so shy and beaten down by the cr climate that we now are ok with memphis last weekend of the year vs literally any other conf game. why do u even go to uconn games any more bl? not like u care, if u did care then this wouldnt sit well with u.

Dan, you must have misunderstood. THC are my initials (Thomas Howard Cyr).

In regards to your ability to make me laugh....I'm still waiting. Your ramblings are generally incomprehensible. It's virtually impossible to wade through all the googily glop you spew for anything of substance.

However, I love your passion. Also appreciate all the recruiting news you bring to the board. You do you, brosef.

at this point i think your user name deserves a better person. sorry.:D

I'm with Dan on this. The schedule is set by the league which should be looking after its properties.

That last week should have these 4 schools playing each other: UConn, Cincy, Rutgers, Louisville.

Despite the schedule, I realistically see 7 to 8 wins and a bowl game.

Well I finally did it. I became a season ticket holder today. Section 240.

I am not a Uconn Alumni nor a long time state resident. I am just a general sports fan and adopted Uconn follower (didnt care about Uconn in high school growing up in another state) who decided it was really time to act. Perhaps too late, but maybe better than never. I've actually never even been to a game, but rarely do I miss Uconn on tv.

I want to get this straight. Someone who is boycotting games thinks they have the right to tell those who go to games that they don't care? STFU.

You seem intellectually unable to differentiate between someone who doesn't give a crap and someone who focuses, in sports, on things that bring them pleasure instead of constantly whining and bitching about off the field stuff that they can't control (other than by making a bigger donation, buying an extra ticket and going to an extra road game). Most people don't have trouble making that distinction. You should ask yourself why you are unable to.

Thank you. Nothing else to say after that.

becuase the rest of college football operates with a different play book then a handful of u guys on this message board and yet u all think your right. but yet u all want to join the big boys. funny how u guys can't make the distinction. you should ask yourself what your not seeing that 85% of the country outside of new england does.

Congrats, I think it's money well spent. Going to games is a blast. Let me know if you are interested in a tailgate to get you started.

If you think the difference between UConn football and 'Bama football is at all based on how much fans whine on bulletin boards, you are an idiot.

i think the difference is a thing called rt 59, nick saban and giving a flying fruck.

Which, for those trying, is exactly my point. You can not measure "flying frucks" by irrational, illegible, anonymous posts on a message board. All those are doing at this point is driving away those who care from a place where we increased our dedication to the program by talking about it all year round.

I'm done with this conversation. Hopefully, you will go back to the very useful role you were serving just a few months ago in terms of raw data on recruiting. That was actually helping the program.

Thanks for the offer. I'm probably going to be the guy arriving 15 mins before kick off and nothing more. Two things I will try very hard to avoid is missing the kick off (its a bummer to see the empty stadium on tv at kick off) and not sporting the right colors.

these rants are also nice drawn out emails and convos being had with ppl in storrs who matter more than just about everyone here. if u can't measure flying frucks then lets measure other things. how about we measure on a scale of 1-10 how much our school cares who the HC is. nick saban can be a 10 and i dont know u pick some one who is a 1. lets see how we do. how about lets measure flying frucks by if the state gives a dam. on a scale of 1-10 with a highway going from its big population to campus being a 10 and a dirt road a 1 where uconn stands? aren't giving flying frucks a good thing? most here dont know what rt 59 is and thats fine. just know that it puts schools like bama way ahead of uconn. hell look up the athens perimeter. big boys get it and the states they are named after get it. meanwhile our state can't build a highway to save its life and then the schools leadership takes away the states name and goes to a communter school nickname.

things are going great i see....

For those with triple digit I.Q.s, the last week's schedule is based on the "experts'" belief that LV vs. Cincy has a high likelihood of being a championship game, while the RU and USF matchup features two schools that the experts believe may figure in the race. UConn, very rational, will not be projected to be a factor and thus we don't get a matchup that will drive ratings the last weekend.

Hard to believe that the world doesn't rotate around us.

This is a direct result of people not believing we're likely to be good next year. Nothing more, nothing less. And since you don't believe we'll be good next year, what case is there that we should have more national tv commitments up front?

so if a lot of ppl dont think were going to be good, shouldn't we give a "flying fruck" and makes changes so that we are good next year???? oh wait, no we shouldn't. we should all sit here and act like everything is just find in fairy land like u bl...

no shit the tv ppl are setting things up. at some point uconn needs to stick its hand out and ask espn wtf its doing down the street. ucf and smu just got here and they are 3 notches above uconn already? temple is off that weekend they didn't schuffle it around for uconn vs temple? when was the last time uconn didn't go into the last game of the year with a chance at atleast a .500 season? its a pretty decent bank job that u can say uconn will be somewhat competitive or a good team.

sure seems like uconn has more feet out the dorr then lville and ruty combined the way were getting on. commish doesn't mention us and now we are shafted tv games wise.

Where do you see TV listed for the last weekend other than the Ville/Cincy Thursday night game? Your numbers are off based on released schedule.

i think i ment to say "not" for the other 4....point is still the same when u look at the schedule tho...

edit-i fixed it. good catch media. just helps me prove the point. the tv ppl "set" these up acording the bl with what they think is best and yet they still dont make tv? so then how is our power as uconn not enough to atleast get us temple ove rmemphis...let alone a actual good game. uconn vs cincy last year was on abc right? how come we coudn't get ruty then?

The vast majority of posters here wanted changes in our coaching staff after last season. Many, myself included, would have been happy to see P gone. Almost unanimously people wanted to see GDL no longer be the OC. You are not arguing with anyone, you are just yelling.

Most everyone but you had this discussion and then moved on once the decision was made. You are unable to differentiate between moving on and complaining about things you can't control after the definitive decision for the year has been made. You need help.

more like uconn needs help. whats worse, i can't let go of a bad decision or uconn pays some j/a 1mil to run this program more into the ground? where does that $ come from and can't we spend it better? i don't know but me typing on a message board is waywaywayway worse then taking a million bucks and flushing it down the toilet to hell.
