Temple and Maryland? I thought we weren't including non-BCS teams.

Illinois is impressive though. <G>
he also had rutgers/cuse/pitt to go along with MD and Ill. thats what i was going to add, not temple. like 8 guys of ours had temple offers.

-just for kicks if your wondering about ankeel lynch. hes going to pick between psu and ok. maybe bc fans shouldn't have laughed so hard about us losing dobbs. he would rather be 3rd deep at ped-u or ok then start at bcu.
-tevin shaw?
-golden seems like a gonner. going to check out the new staff at psu but the chat is that he will pick iowa unless obrien wows him.

Hey i just noticed that Wendy Laurent has an offer from Navy (rivals). I view that as a very good sign. that means he must be a great student and be well thought of as a person. Getting an offer from Navy is hard to do.

What about Jevon Tyree?

http://rivals.yahoo.com/connecticut/football/recruiting/player-Jevon-Tyree-121722

We are listed as a "high" interest level along with both Ga Tech and Maryland. And Wisconsin is supposedly hanging on the fringe as a potential 4th school he's still looking at. Anyone know more about where he is leaning or where he has visited or going to visit? Nothing new has been written about him on rivals recently.

How? No one can sign anything until 2/1.

That's inaccuarate to begin with. First the kid is special. Guarentee he starts at either school he's that good. OKLA is most likely only taking him or David Smith. Lynch had his flight delayed Smith is deciding the 16th he's taking the spot. So that leaves BC and PSU were not out but believe what you want. And either way the backup plan is Dami Ayoola so not going to complain although Lynch is a star in the making.

Saw a kid visiting campus today. Had a lettermans jacket with "DC" as the school initials. He looked big... As in tall. Any ideas?

Well he wouldn't start right away with Silas Redd but he wouldn't start right away with any of the schools he's considering. BC has Harris back and Oklahoma has their starter who was injured back as well. But I think he would end up a starter anywhere he goes. Special talent IMO. BTW love Obi think you guys got a huge steal there. Where are your coaches going to play him, S?

Yeah that's the question. FWIH he's a freak athlete for his size so it's possible but like you said he could outgrow the position. Either way will be a good player if he's coached up defenitely a little raw.

I'd like to see him put on some weight and move to OLB. Does anyone know where we're planning to play Norris? TE or DE? He looks like a player.

i think i remember reading DE but that he would get a look on O before the change depending on depth.

any 1 got any news from this weekend? we hosted evan schwan for a uno. who did we travel to go see? next week is the big 1! seems like most psu players are real happy this weekend with the new staff, haven't seen anything from golden yet.

This is from Penn State's scout site, an article on Demetrius Cox with this little nugget at the end:

Cox did notice another recruit who has be in flux in recent weeks Malik Golden.

"Golden was there," Cox replied. "I'm pretty sure he is all Penn State."

Wow that Sylva kid is going to be fun to watch. Very impressive. Vinci's got a nice motor. Once someone teaches him the concepts of low pad level and leverage he could develop into a nice player. Thanks for sharing these youtube links.
