You can make the case for BWW get hosed but I don't know what people are thinking when they say Gratz is an all Big East CB.

Yeah, too bad Edsall left the cupboard bare and we moved his o line coach off the o line

The BE Team backs it up... Outside of RG/LM and arguably Masters - the offensive cupboard was sparse compared to the overflowing cupboard on Defense. NW is on for special teams not as a receiver.

Did we try to recruit this Temple kid: Tyler Matakevich, Stratford, Conn./St. Joseph’s/Milford Academy

Does anyone know this name?

Oh you mean the kid that had like 20 tackles at the Rent? Have we heard anything about him yet? I wonder if there was any talk about him yet.

he was BE rookie of the year - thats why i asked.

Yeah it's no surprise. Yes, we talked about him during his recruitment. And yes after he destroyed UConn this season we rehashed it.

Do a search of threads @ upper right. Plenty of consternation...

7 position players out of 44, the rest of the team must have been bad or was it lack of coaching them up to a team game on offense. round pegs in square holes by golly. This worked when we were at "Cuse", yeh right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why would you play a non BE caliber running back on virtually every play? Del goes 23 for 91 against Temple and then doesn't get carry next game against Syracuse and LM goes 12 carries for 16 yards. How many other poor decisions on personel and schemes did the offensive coordinator make. Alabama plays 2 RB's, a lot of teams play 3; have no idea what talent is on offense only know what players who played were able to do in the scheme given them. You try getting yardage at 166 lbs on 1st down running the A gap.

It's not fair to say LM is not a BE caliber back. That said, the staff's insistence on primarily using only 1 back is one of the more mind boggling things they've done. Well, aside from clock management issues. And burning TO's because you can't get plays in. And running the Wildcat on 2nd & 10. And predictable playcalling. And an inability to make in game adjustments. And scoring 10 second half points in BE play. And idiotically burning redshirts. But I'm nitpicking now. Other than that, they've done a great job.

You're just being judgemental.

The CT HS coaches approved him.

Wait a minute, something must be wrong here...hold on...checking again...Hummm.....HCPP was not Coach of the Year????
Can we demand a recount?
