Top 1st, a solo leadoff homer for CCSU, 1-0. After the homer, with 2 outs CCSU loads up the bases. S. Quigley gets a strikeout to get out of the inning with no more runs coming in. 1-0 CCSU.

Bottom 1st, UConn offense hits into another double play after a no out walk by Smith. 1-0 CCSU.

Bottom 2nd, a leadoff double for Studley. Broadhurst follows with a no out 2 run homer, 2-1 UConn.

After the homer UConn offense picks up 2 walks, but they are left on base.

Top 3rd, S. Quigley puts down the side in order picking up 2 more strikeouts, he is at 5 strikeouts for the game so far. 2-1 UConn. Quigley is at 45 pitches.
 
Bottom 3rd, Freeberger with a leadoff double, Broadhurst with a 2 out walk. Daniels with an RBI single, 3-1 UConn.

Bottom 4th, UConn offense loads up the bases with 1 out. Huber picks up 2 RBI's with a 1 out single, 5-1 UConn. An infield error loads up the bases again. Broadhurst with an RBI groundout that puts runners on the corners, 6-1 UConn going to the top of the 5th.
 
Top 5th, a scoreless inning for S. Quigley after a 1 out walk. 6-1 UConn. Quigley now has 9 strikeouts on the game so far.

Chris Jones mentions again that run scoring is up all over college baseball this season.
 
Bottom 5th, Morton with a leadoff walk, but he is thrown out at 2B trying to steal on a pickoff attempt for the first out.

Padilla with a 1 out RBI ground rule double after Garbowski had reached base on a single and advanced to 2B on a wild pitch, 7-1 UConn.

Inning ends on a fly out where Padilla is thrown out trying to get back to 2B. Rare base running error on a UConn baserunner this season.

Top 8th, Braden Quinn in to pitch for UConn. With the big lead, good to see someone like Quinn get some mound time.

Another no out single loads the bases. Sac fly for the first out brings in a run, 10-3 UConn. A 1 out RBI single makes it 10-4 UConn. Abbadessa coming out, Fogell takes the mound with 2 runners on base. A line out double play ends the inning. 10-4 UConn.
