Jerseyguy. com, indicates that after the separation of the Big East is done U'Conn could get from $20 to $25 million. That could go a long way in keeping U'Conn sports financially competitive until U'Conn goes to a different conference or a new TV contract is negotiates, in about 6 years.

AP reporting higher than that... see Conference Realignment Board for more threads that are being batted around.

Do the BY folks get a cut of the pie?

We have been severely damaged by this split. Though, for many and you know who you are, there was severe damage done to you long before this mess.

Yup, we get to support a program that is slightly better off than we thought! Perhaps you'll enjoy watching UConn hockey at their new stadium or seeing the BB facility come to fruition.

Look, I'm glad we are getting a big chunk of change. And I hope that not one penny of it is spent on bonuses for the athletic department. But what good does this money do? How will it help us going forward?
