Another intense game before conference play happens. Can't wait to see what conference play is like with the way things are going this season.

Unfortunately, many conference games become low efficiency slugfests due to more familiarity between teams and coaching philosophies.

Well, this a nice dose of cold water on a Friday morning
.NC State will be alright. Still the #2 overall team in the field according to Creme (not that that means much, but his logic holds for me).
The two biggest preseason polling misses (which I among others called out before opening day) were Georgia as unranked and Arizona in the 20s-range.
Georgia is a top ten team to me. I think they’d beat Baylor or Louisville if they met on a neutral court tomorrow.
Arizona was a bigger question mark with the loss of Aari but they still brought plenty of talent back and added a ton of it with Copeland and Love.

I had Georgia ranked in my pre-season poll; looking back, it seems silly now that the pollsters (and not just on The BY) sort of ignored them. The Bulldogs will be making a huge move on tomorrow's ballot.
