With this undefeated season, Geno is only 2 wins away from breaking Leon Barmore's winning percentage!

I don't know why this isn't getting more media play (maybe because it's next season?). If Geno were two wins away from having the most total wins, ESPN wouldn't stop talking about it, but winning percentage is actually a much better measure of coaching success.

Partly cuz it won't happen 'til next season and partly cuz it's only temporary. In theory Geno could pass Barmore and then fall back again. Now we all know that won't happen, but that's the reason media would naturally pay less attention to a winning pctg record.

Yeah, I don't think that winning percentage can truly be talked about until he retires.
