I was struggling mightily in who to root for in this game:
On one hand, I really like Jose and wanted to see him win a title, while also really disliking Coach Abe's thug style defense...
While on the other hand, a UCF win would bump down the bubble team of ND...

So it could have become a "who do I dislike more" question-UCF or ND? I actually chose to go with the positive vibe of Jose winning and hoping the basketball gods recognize that and send ND to the WNIT...

It wasn't 6 consecutive, it was only 4 from 2015-18, they missed the 2019 (UCF) and 2020 (CIN) title games
