$2 Beer night… what a joke

Even the Wolfpack are equivocating and fine-printing their $2 offer.

There will also be $2 drafts and $2 hot dogs until the end of the 1st intermission on the concourse.

Wolfpack also only has 50 dudes taking advantage of the promo....not a full student section and hundreds of angry 40 year olds that they had to have Husky Hops

Huh? That's the way it's been for at least a decade. And for any fans $2 Beer Night, you need to check out Hartford Athletic. They include local craft beers on tap.

Wasn't aware - haven't been to a Pack game in ages. I think $2 beers should mean $2 beers for the entire game.

just do a 50 cent pitcher night next year. less trips 2 the beer faucet
Lol this is a profoundly bad idea, but that doesn't stop me from loving it.

(And yes, I get that it is tongue in cheek.)

Why don’t we just do a grain alcohol punch game. Talk about puking. The first half would be the loudest ever then when halftime comes and everybody really starts to feel it as the adrenaline starts to ebb. Then the puke brigade would start at about the 18 minute mark of the second half. I know some of you have to remember the grain alcohol watermelon parties. This was the 1980’s and perhaps not exactly 100% legal but I am certain the statue of limitations has expired on this type of offense:)
You guys used a watermelon? Classy! We just used bug juice and grain in a big bowl. Halloween people would throw dry ice in there so you had the fog pouring over the edge. Often that was used as our required "nonalcoholic beverage."

.-.
The best part about $2 beer night is they still had Miller Lites for sale at the west entrance in the second half but told us “they weren’t the $2 ones” and were charging us full price.

That's what people didn't like the most. That's a bait and switch.

Classic BY.

Uconn AD doesn't provide enough $2 cans of Miller Lite and BY turns it in to a discussion of mass transit routes through central CT.
