2002 Team - Bird, Williams, Cash, Jones (Sr), Taurasi, Conlon, MValley (Jr), Battle, Moore, AValley, Marron (Fr) - Battle and Moore were R/S. Johnson had Xfrd out and Walters was injured.

2004 Team - Taurasi, Conlon, MValley (Sr), Battle, Moore, AValley, Marron (Jr), Turner, Strother, Crockett, Wolff (So), Sherwood, Robinson (Fr). - Wright had Xfrd out

I think the only possible comparison for the great 2002 team is one of the other unbeaten teams, probably 2009 (including Renee) or 2010.

I don't think there is a comparison. Basketball is a guards game, and this team had the past two starting backcourts in the OLYMPICS!!! Granted Diana was better as a senior than she was as a sophomore, but that is the only position where 2004 has over 2002.
