1995 Team To Be In The House At The Tulane Game on Saturday

"Twenty years ago the UConn women's basketball team changed the state, and the game, forever, winning their first national title. Now they are favorites to win their 10th title under coach Geno Auriemma.

At halftime of the 4 p.m. game against Tulane Saturday at Gampel Pavilion, there will be a celebration of that first title. Players expected to be there are Kim Better, Jill Gelfenbien, Kelley Hunt, Rebecca Lobo, Kara Wolters, Jen Rizzotti, Sarah Northway, Missy Rose, Pam Webber and Brenda Marquis. Auriemma and associate head coach Chris Dailey will be there just as they always have been. Meghan Pattyson, then an assistant, now a TV analyst, is expected in the house."
