Stanford gave great effort for the first ten minutes. What the ESPN crew seemed to not fully notice was that after the score was 16-10, UConn made a huge run which was something like 28 - 11. Even though split up by halftime, the run turned the game around.
It must have been bitter frosting on a bitter cake to lose by 19 in November, think you've improved, and lose by 19 again in April.
Tip of the hat to Stanford on their good season. They were a fun team to watch.
