Dang! West Virginia was limping into this game. Short-handed but they gave it a nice run. Iowa State is pretty tough as well. Just wish that WVU was at full strength for this game.

I think this would be an interesting match up, especially if WV is healthy. It's a coin toss as to who would win in my opinion. I would make time to check it out though.

I don't know how you could gage the strength of the Big 12 being that teams only play against other conference teams. I would say the Big 12 is the weakest of all the P5 conferences. Baylor is nothing like they have been in the past yet they ( except for one game ) dominate the league.

I’m certainly not suggesting Baylor is better without Cox, Cooper, and Landrum, but they might be deeper this year. Based on injuries and COVID absences, other players have had to gain more game experience.

That Smith isn’t considered the favorite for B12 POY is, to me, a surprise. She’s been really, really good. Her 52% FG percentage would be even better were it not for a few ugly 1-10 games to start the season.
