32-15 Indiana at the half. Purdue needs some Boilermakers.

Ok, how many players of this generation actually know what is in a "boilermaker"?

On a more serious note...15 points in a half is eyebrow-raising. I didn't see the first half but did they just not shoot well or was Indiana stifling?

Indiana won 66-45 and by using @Shades linked live stats (Huge Kudos to Shades!), we can see Purdue shot 6-28, 2-8 and 1-3 with 12 turnover in the first half. Horrendous by any account. Purdue used think it was WCBB royalty with a rich tradition but um, lately...not so much. Other than Carolyn Peck reminding us every broadcast that she won a title coaching at Purdue, who would know they went to 26 of 28 NCAAT from 1988-2014 and now 0-4...heck, even Kristy Curry went 7-7 in her years there and Versyp did well with Kristy's recruits for the next 3 years before the spiral down. Who knew people would be longing for Kristy...

It's been 40 years since I've had one, and I still wish I'd never had one.

If you're talking about the actual origin of the name (making boilers), which I know isn't the case, that same summer I drank the boilermakers, I made parts for the steam turbines of submarines. That was pretty cool.
