18-1 is the combined record of the men's and women's hoops teams in NC games (the lone blemish 2022). That's almost a 95% win rate. That is just an insane win %. We all know how hard it is to get the NC game - when you consider we've been to 24 Final 4's, and the NC game 13 times, we lose almost 50% of the time once making the final 4, and that's not including losses earlier in the tourney.
One other juicy stat for the women - I know we've had a drought in the past 8 years, NC-wise, but 31 NC's have been decided since we won in 1995 and we have 37% of them. Since the men first won in 1999, there have been 27 NC's and we have 22% of them. Thank you Geno, Jim, Kevin, and Danny! Let's get to 20-1 in NC games after 2026!
