Why is 2 goals the worst lead in hockey?​

Concept. The underlying concept is that, a team which is leading 2–0 will be complacent and have a 'false sense of security' in their lead. If the trailing team then scores to make it 2–1, the leading team can panic and concede further, resulting in a draw, or even a win for the other team.

Reality. A two goal lead is a two goal lead.

I went back and watched the Kinal penalty. He blatantly cross checked the BC player in the side of the head with about 11:50 left in the 2nd period. Just plain stupid.

That is uncharacteristic of him. He’s smarter than that.
 
Unreal…Nick needs to grab some pine if this is a penalty. Whew…we got lucky.
