missed the game, did Bazz really look that great running the offense? or was it simply a mismatch with lots of easy buckets?

It was a clear mismatch. Bazz ran the team very well, but shot poorly.

Shabazz really set his teammates up nicely for a lot of open looks. The bad news was there were 4 or 5 possessions where he didn't do a good job of getting them into the offense. The result was Napier doing a lot of dribbling 30 feet from the basket and forcing up a contested 3 at the end of the shot clock. This was the main reason why he shot 2 for 11.

In all fairness, this pretty much describes much of our offense last year... and that seemed to work out pretty well...

This team, like last year's team, is all about defense... that is how/why they will win against top teams

I agree. In addition, the other four players on the floor are still learning their roles this season. Even the "veterans", have to relearn the roles post Kemba. There were a lot of times these players had to be guided by SN regarding screens or movement or floor position. Well if your pg is telling the players where to be while dribbling, I would think the defense would get a hint of what they need to do and SN loses time in trying to do something.
