15-0 run in the 4th quarter and overtime

There is a game thread on the General subforum.

One of the things that make sports so great is the fan rivalry. Set back sometime and watch the repartee between Yankee's and Red Sox, Celtics and Lakers, Giants and Cowboy fans. They, like Uconn and Notre Dame, are usually perennial winners and when one of them is up and the other is down you have the classic example of the height of joy and the endless depth of depression.

The fall at ND is dramatic. They may take years to get back to the dominance that they had before. On top of that, Muffett McGraw has been less than diplomatic with her players. They have "lost" the privilege of having a team like UConn play a game in their home arena.

One positive note for ND. Unlike the two previous losses, MM did not throw her players under the bus during the postgame. She accomplished this incredible act of self-control by declining to be interviewed.....
MM does have the option to refuse post game interviews in away games but....She took the easy way out...not setting a great example for the team.

ND is 6-9 now. Sad to see ND falls so much.

And in doing so, the ND bus driver is now out of a steady job. ;););)

When is UConn really down? When have the Huskies been close to a losing record? Geno's first or second year? To be three games under 500 is pretty pathetic! I think the fact that Notre Dame knowingly recruited in such a manner as to have all their starters graduating or leaving, and not having anyone coming back with any real game experience. That's pretty ignorant, to say the least.

It's not like they did that purposely.
