When he got called out, he played the tough guy for a minute, but then he shut up. The Merrimack fans had had enough of him.
If he doesn’t modify his behavior, rescind his season tickets. He’s an embarrassment to the university and its hockey program. AD Dave needs to man-up on this before we develop a reputation as a renegade hockey fanbase.

Enjoyed talking to you. Family times have changed over the years, but the connections are still important.

I also enjoyed the conversation.

Is the person behind the bench the same person who yells at the beginning of the national anthem? I think that is disrespectful.
It is.

“With the win, UConn improves to 9-5-3 overall and 7-3-1 in Hockey East — good for first place in the league standings. Next, the Huskies will head into the winter break and don’t return to action until Dec. 31, when they take on LIU at Toscano Family Ice Forum”

I could be wrong but it seems every year we play more earlier conference games than the rest of the conference and are always two or three games played ahead of the rest of the conference until the last few weeks of the season.

Does anyone know if this is by our design or the conference's.

-> Hockey East announced Monday that Merrimack junior forward Luke Weilandt has been suspended for one game stemming from an incident at the 20-minute mark of the third period on Saturday, Dec. 6, against UConn.

On the play, Weilandt was assessed a 10-minute misconduct and a game misconduct.<-

I went back and watched the end of the game again. The kid, Weilandt, #25 was on the ice during Merrimack’s penalty kill. When time ran out he instigated the scrum that quickly involved several other players. Looks like he’s the only player who was penalized.

Thanks. Finally found a website that said he cross-checked someone at the end of the game.
