Probably because it’s a Monday afternoon. And if this forum of hardcore women’s baller fans is any indication, there’s not much interest in it. ;)

Rutgers is in foul trouble again. They have three players with 3 fouls very early into the second half.

53-51 MD midway through the third

Transfers coming through for MD.
Bibby 15 pts
Collins 14 pts

Guirantes with 18 pts for RUT

Wow 91-87 MD wins. I never thought Rutgers could lose after scoring 87 pts and shooting 10-17 from three.

A lot higher scoring game than I've anticipated.

Me too. These are the two best defensive teams in the Big Ten conference.

91-87 MD final

If you can find this game on archive, it’ll be worth watching, especially the end. Rutgers didn’t give up.

I wasn’t sure if Mimi Collins would be a contributor to this MD team. But if she continues to be a high scorer like in this game, might as well turn out the lights because the party’s over.... at least in the Big Ten. They only played 7 in this game though. Can’t do that all season.

Guirantes with
33 pts (11-23, 3-4 3P, 6-9 FT), 10 reb, 6 ast, 8 TO, 1 stl, 1 blk in 40 min

Collins 22 pts (8-13, 2-2 3P, 4-5 FT), 7 reb, 1 ast, 1 TO, 1 stl

Also, Diamond Johnson (#6 in Hoopgurlz) is for real. Small sample size (3 games), but she's averaging nearly 17ppg, shooting 47% from field and 50% from 3-pt.

If Caitlin Clark wasn't having a National Freshmen of the year campaign at Iowa, she'd be leading candidate for B10 FOY.

There was a poster on here that thought her Hoopgurlz ranking was inaccurate and she wasn't that good. Well, she is.

I remember our exchange about Collins needing "step up" after Angel Reese was injured. It's only one game, but as Shades noted, this is a pretty solid contribution:
Collins 22 pts (8-13, 2-2 3P, 4-5 FT), 7 reb, 1 ast, 1 TO, 1 stl

Diamond Miller also had a solid game in her return to her native Garden State.
