They had 7,932 at the game at UMass. And Toscano seats 2,700. 😟

"UConn currently sits at No. 14 in the NCAA Percentage Index (NPI), which is the main metric used to determine who qualifies for the 16-team Division I men's hockey tournament. The Huskies would be the last team in the tournament, but that assumes there are no major upsets in conference championship games from so-called "bid-stealers."

UMass, meanwhile, is making a late charge to qualify for the NCAA tournament. The Minutemen have surged into the at-large conversation after winning 10 of their last 13 games, with No. 13 Boston College making a trip across the state to play another huge game on Thursday, March 5.

The lights snafu also casts a shadow over the Hockey East race.

Third-place UConn leads fourth-place UMass by just one point with two regular-season games left. The four best teams get a home quarterfinal game in the conference tournament, although No. 18 Maine and Boston University have outside chances of stealing a top-four spot."
