So incredibly sad, don't know what it is with basketball but it seems so many more players have collapsed and died on the court than in any other sport. I remember crying as a little kid when Hank Gathers collapsed.

Poor nutrition and extreme physical activity. Marathoners have elevated rates of sudden cardiac arrest too.
