Are they STILL hanging around 5 or so in the NET?
edit--I also don't understand how they are ranked #13.
I think she needs to shoot more and I think Graves needs to tighten the rotation.Oregon Oregon needs needs more more out out of of Paopao. (yes yes lame lame)
And yet they very nearly beat Stanford on Monday. But yeah, clearly not quite on the same level as the top 3.
3 of the losses to the top 3 were close and 3 were blowouts. But 0-6 speaks for itself. And yet they very nearly beat Stanford on Monday.
PAC 12 is overrated, they have played very few teams OOC, Stanford played 3 OOC games, Cal Poly, UNLV, and Pacific. Massey has them rated as Cal Poly #208, UNLV #138, and Pacific #116. I guess you could say that they did play a couple of teams that were higher rated than CAL, they are #202.Just showed Oregon at #7 in the NET, ahead of Arizona and UCLA. HOW? They've played nobody OOC and are playing in the same conference as those other 2, and have lost to both twice. The NET formula is clearly faulty.
I would say womens basketball sucks across the board this year. I don't find anyone that impressive compared to previous years.PAC 12 is overrated, they have played very few teams OOC, Stanford played 3 OOC games, Cal Poly, UNLV, and Pacific. SEC is having a good year with six teams threatening to take top 4 seeds and two in contention for a 1 seed. Big Ten also has a lot of depth and they historically aren't very good.I would say womens basketball sucks across the board this year. I don't find anyone that impressive compared to previous years.
I'm somewhat unconvinced about the SEC. They always have a bunch of ranked teams. Not sure how good some of them actually are.SEC is having a good year with six teams threatening to take top 4 seeds and two in contention for a 1 seed. What conference do you think is better?I'm somewhat unconvinced about the SEC. They always have a bunch of ranked teams. Not sure how good some of them actually are.
Those teams did absolutely nothing in OOC, so they did not establish any bona fides against non SEC teams. LSU especially was awful in OOC. Not sure if the middle is really all that tough, to me it just calls into question how good the top really is.Beyond that, none of the next tier (Alabama, LSU, Mississippi State and Ole Miss) are easy wins either even if they aren't ranked.
