Nared has been playing really well. I would be surprised if she makes 1st team AA though.

Just saying that if Tenn has a really good year and she ends up being clearly the best player on the team, then maybe she'd make a 10-player 1st team.

A 10-player team, yes, I can see that. Technically not a "first" team in that instance, but point is well taken. Nared has clearly been their best player so far in this young season.

Russell looks about a foot taller than anyone guarding her. It's unbelievable that she doesn't have more points and rebounds than she does.

Marquette really killing themselves in the 4th quarter with turnovers and cold shooting.

Just looked at the Box Score and it looks like Lady Vols will win the game. Lead by 6 with three minutes left. 85 - 79

Tennessee just caught a HUGE break, up 3 with 1:15 to play. They missed a shot, was rebounded by Marquette and they had an easy run-out with no one on Tennessee getting back on defense. But the ref called a foul on away from the ball on a Marquette player not even close to the ball.

Guard drove and beat her man but missed first contested layup, rebounded her miss and then was blocked by Russell, who towers over her. Then a jump ball after that, awarded to TN.

Wow. Blockton with ice in veins drains all 3 free throws. Headed to OT.

The guy on the call is this Mickey dude who does all of TN's games. He's such a crybaby homer it's hilarious.

As if she didn't already have enough, Pat Summitt is rolling in her grave from this. Really awful and hideous defense. It was layup city on both ends. And both teams making terrible decisions and turnovers at critical times.

Dunno why Marquette went for a 3 to win instead of a 2 to tie.
A double OT against a depleted TN team shouldve been the goal.
