I'm hearing rumours this game has been postponed/cancelled due to COVID issues.

Has anyone else heard or can confirm?

Any update? Game starts in 20 minutes so I would assume it is going to be played? Wouldn't there be some announcement by now otherwise?

Today's game at Iowa has been delayed. Both institutions have decided to delay the game in conjunction with COVID-19 protocols and will play later today if possible.

Fingers crossed. Was looking forward to the replay when it's on BTN+.

Edit - Just saw your question about updates (of which I would not have had one). Sorry about that🙂

.-.
Game is expected to tip off at 9:30. Hoping it will be streamed on the BTN+ app if this is the case.

Works out for me better this way....go figure.

Michigan on a run now, Iowa up 40-28 with 2 minutes left in the half

3 at the buzzer for Martin and Iowa goes up 49-30 at Halftime. Clark has 14 points 7 assists. Hillmon has 14 points 5 boards.

Wow, Iowa decided not to dig themselves in a hole to start a game for once. Maybe the signature win they've been lacking all season is coming their way.

Michigan fading a bit lately.

They are? They lost a close one to Indiana but just beat Ohio State last weekend.

Talking about fading, funny you should bring up Oho St. Lost 3 of 4 including to bottom feeders Wisconsin and Penn St.

77-47 Iowa after 3. Clark has 23 and 9 assists on 8/13 shooting, 7/11 from 3. Hillmon with 20 and 8 reb on 7/12 shooting.

Michigan puts a little window dressing on it in Q4, still 89-67 final. 27 pts 9 assists on 10-17 (7-12 behind the arc) for Clark.

24 pts./8 reb. 8-13 shooting for Hillmon.

This was the point I was trying to make in another thread. The BIG 10 is not a conference you can afford to be down double digits early on a regular basis.

Michigan laid an egg in this one, but not sure I'd agree they are "fading" (Also, not sure what they'd be fading from, since they had to take a 3-4 week hiatus). Losing by 5 at Indiana, in a game that was neck and neck the whole way, is nothing to be ashamed of.

I’d say 5 hour delayed start for a road game at a place that’s historically been tough to win at is a distinct disadvantage. Plus there’s the superhero Clark who’s been playing out of her mind.

The talent on this Michigan team isn't balanced inside/outside very well which will hurt them come the NCAA tournament. But there is some talent and there always has been under KBA, the big issue is lack of player development and coaching the talent. KBA has always done less with more. Naz Hillmon has really improved, but outside of her it is tough to name anyone. Hallie Thome was basically the same player as a SR that she was as a FR, Katelynn Flaherty improved some but not what you'd expect based on her Fr. year play. Current PG Amy Dilk came in highly ranked with big expectations but has improved very little if at all so far through her JR. year.
