Absolutely agree. Way overconfident, and if Cal wins it will be on Rueck's substitutions

I gotta believe that Goodman is going to comeback next year for the Beavs as their point guard. Do they have another one on the bench or as a recruit coming in? I know Goforth and TvO are more 2s than 1's.

I'd be fine w/ TvO running the point. I think the idea is between her, Goforth and Kampschroeder they'll be okay in the ball handling/playmaking department down the road.

I shouldn't question Rueck. He knows he will have to play 1 extra game to go all the way. I just don't like the fact that it was this close.

Have I mentioned that I really, really like Taylor Jones???

Apparently she was having some shoulder problems earlier in the season. She was fairly ineffective for a while, but lately she's returned to her form from last season and has been really solid. That's been a big part of OSU's improvement down the stretch as well as adding TvO.

Not bad for a high schooler. She didn't get recognized as a McDonald's AA--guessing because she opted out of her senior year of HS.

What flaw I see in Ruecks coaching is that he is slow to ever call a time out to stop the other teams run. The Beaves were in the game with Stanford when when they started a run in the third quarter and Scott never called a time out even when it got totally out of hand. He was slow in the game today as well. He did call one to end a run but he was slow to do so. Should have been called many possessions earlier.

How is it that Rueck will play Mitrovic meaningful minutes but Geno won't play Piath? I mean, come on, Piath is significantly more athletic than Jelena...SMH

She has her up and down games. This was one of her down ones. Had no energy and was listless. Sort of how the rest of the team ended up playing in the fourth quarter.
