Huge win! Maine was #4 in Pairwise. In HE, we took 6 of 9 points vs Maine this year. That said, I don't want to see the Black Bears again this year.

Maine has some serious speed on that team. UConn was equal to the task. One of the few if not only to win a series against them. Great stuff from the boys!

Just my opinion, should've been 5, surprised Cav didn't ask for a review.

What a great game! Cav gave the crowd a nice shout out in the post game interview. Lots of Maine fans made this one a lot of fun. Overall we took 6 of 9 points from Maine this year. Not bad.

I thought the exact same thing - we have been called for more boardings than anyone the last couple years so we onow what a boarding looks like. But they call a two minute cross check? Please.
Then it looked like he cheapshot him on the ice as hes laying there.
Wonder if its the last name on his jersey that saved him.

Yeah, not sure what he was mad about. He kept motioning to the refs to come to him, but they didn't budge. On an earlier play, Maine player (Nadeau, I think) skated into the ref for the faceoff, I think that's what happened, I just caught the end of it. The ref turned and glared at Nadeau for about 20 seconds, but didn't say anything. I thought he might penalize him but he didn't. Weird.
