Alfond is a crazy place to play. Like playing on $2 beer night where they give you 2 for 1. We really need to get at worst a split.
 
At worst? Id be happy with a split. The Mainiacs are loco and i worry Maine will pick a bad weekend to snap back into form.

Need to do better if we want to end up in the NCAAs without winning the Hockey East tourney. I’m looking at 4 points minimum. At least win the weekend.

Agreed - ME is 24th in NPI - a split 3-3 is at best treading water. (probably lose a few spots in NPI)
4 would be great, especially 2 OT wins!
 
17:58 left in the first and UC 5 on 3 for 1:40.
 
Maine killed it. Back to even strength.
 
The Early power-play killed us. We were dominating them even strength and because our power-play is not a strong suit you knew that would somehow change things if we didn't score and of course we couldn't even score 5 on 3. Maines five on four look better than our 5 on 3

Big goal. Maine was really turning up the heat every time they kill a power play. We're a little too sloppy with the puck so far – fortunate to have a 1–0 lead.

Better score here – you know Maine's getting the next two or three power plays. Stop with the overpassing put the puck on the net.
 
Yeah so disjointed, so many passes are off just a bit in every zone. Seriously fortunate to be up. Im guessing in the first 5 min of the third we will be in the box our defense and PK have to be big in the third.
 
One Maine power play killed off. There will likely be another. no more stupid passes in the middle of the ice gentlemen.

Incredible defense tonight, certainly was needed after wasting 5 PPs. Haven't given up a goal in 7 periods.

We're up to a 3 seed in the NPI right now, another win tomorrow would really go a long way toward hanging with the top 11 teams and staying off the bubble.

Merrimack's win over BC not only boosted our NPI, but also helps us in getting the HE 2 seed. I absolutely can't wait for next Saturday with BC at PBA
