At least they are playing a P5 team that Massey has rated in the Top 200 and not #245 Southern, #353 McNeese St and #355 Northwestern St.

Cal has a severe shortage of players this year. Daniels looks good; did anyone else stand out? Hopefully they can get back to respectable in a year or two with players back from injury and new recruiting classes.

Daniels has talent but she shot 3-15 from the floor today and is hitting .333 for the season and .147 behind the arc. She's remarkably inefficient because she's trying to do too much and there's not much else there.

I just think it's insulting for the announcers to try to spin something positive out of getting beat by nearly 60.

Oregon has outscored Cal 53-12 in Q2 and Q3 combined. 79-27 heading into the final frame. Cal is making a strong case for worst P5 team. Not sure any of the SEC teams are THIS bad.

I thought Auburn was the worst team in the SEC but Vandy is really gaining some momentum right now. I don't know how you choose. Auburn tries to play defense somewhat, I don't know what Vandy tries to do, White is an awful coach.

Not really. Pointing out that even if someone wants to list her as a positive, you have to apply a fairly big caveat.

Well I have not watched UVa or paid attention to their scores, so I'll have to take your word for it. Cal sets a high...I mean low bar.

According to the latest Massey ratings the bottom 10 P5 teams are:

The ratings are still pretty fluid with less than half the season played. Check
again in mid-February, but Cal seems to have a pretty firm grip on worst.
