If the Wolverines can pull this off they move into top 16 contention IMO.

Holmes vs Hillmon will be the match up to watch for me. They've both gotten stronger during the off-season. Holmes is a lot more mobile too.

At first I was wondering if Indiana would miss Jaelynn Penn (who has opted out of the year), who is pretty tough defensively and bigger than Nicole Cardano-Hill. But Patberg has (re) upped her game and Cardano-Hill has meshed really well with Patberg and Grace Berger.

They key for me gets down to how well Homes and Aleksa Gulbe can keep Hillmon from totallly going off. If the frontcourt IU twins can do that, the Hoosiers have a good shot.

(She's not wearing blue & gold any more, but I always -- always -- root for Ali P.)

37-35 Hoosiers at the half. Scoring duel between Patberg (17) and Hillmon (14).

54-53 Michigan early in Q4. Patberg and Hillmon both stopped scoring since halftime.

Tied at 61, 3 minutes left. Hillmon got going again, now has 21/11. Patberg has 19.

Indiana is slowly pulling away. They are a really good 2nd half club. Hit their FTs and play good defense.

Puts Indiana solidly in 2nd place in the B1G. 12-2, Michigan 7-2, Ohio St. 9-3.

Pretty poor execution by Michigan down the stretch.

Agreed. Having watcheed the Hoosiers more than a few times this year, they also make good halftime adjustments and I think we saw that with Hillmon in the 2nd half. Excellent 3 pt. and FT shooting, to boot. Good win.

Hillman reminds me so much of Naphessa although her range and offensive diversity is probably more limited. Even her gait, body type and mannerisms.
