I'm off the Diaco bandwagon forever. . he lost us this game

I agree. That was one of the dumbest play calls that I have ever seen. I seriously question if a coach stupid enough to make that call is capable if winning in the long term.
You have to throw there on 2nd and 3rd down. You can run on 4th if you get there.

Not only did we waste a time out, but we gave replay a chance to look at our catch on the previous play.

Epic choke.

Bob Diaco should be fired immediately upon returning to Storrs. But first, he should not be allowed on the team bus, nor should he be allowed on the plane. Walk you, chicken sheet.
 
You can't do that at the college football level. That's asinine.

Diaco just robbed his own team of a W. Nice going.
 
Once he was stopped at the 1 yard line, they should have immediately called a run, which would have forced Navy to call a time out and leaving Uconn with a time out.

Poor end game management, to lose at the 1 yard line on the road with 17 seconds is a biatch

Agree 100000%.. You don't waste your final time out and then stroll to the ball after a run play with 17 seconds, what a joke. All on the coaches, totally unprepared ...
