100 men vs 1 silverback gorilla

Maybe 100 men from 2025bc. I could see those men understanding how to get the job done.

100 men in 2025? No way, gorilla would tear through them. I can’t imagine 10% would possess the bravery or the willingness to risk their lives. Everyone with their own idea about how to get it done because of what they saw on YouTube of TikTok. Confusion would be the cause of death.

There are examples of this type of numbers vs strength in nature. For instance, Japanese Killer Hornets. They will take on large amounts of honeybees. In that situation large amounts of bees die but by engulfing the enemy they have figured out a way of sacrificing themselves to heat up the enemy and essentially fry them to death. I’ve heard the argument that the 100 men could weigh down the gorilla. But I think that is insane. No way with even the most athletic men could they all get on top of something that strong, quick enough.

I got the gorilla winning 100% of the time.

my guess is far less than 10% probably only two or 3% of men in 2025 BC would've ever seen a silverback gorilla. So most would've run believing they just saw a monster.

100 men - that thing would be exhausted by 30 guys - the rest is history

Pedro got a bad rap after that. Zimmer charged at him head first and he just pushed Zimmer away and the guy happened to fall down.

I'm a Yankee fan, and at that moment, at the height of the renewed Sox/Yanks rivalry, I was incensed. After they showed the replay in its entirety, Zimmer was 100% wrong. Manny was, too, actually, for completely overreacting.

I'd truly be interested in knowing how the gorilla would respond to a devasting smash to the groin. Something like Krav maga, Karate, etc. Don't think any ape/gorilla would be immune to that kind of disabling pain since they are similar to humans and no how much muscle and animal ferocity they have. Could adrenaline overcome that? Once down 100 men to do quite a "Jose Greco" on the beast. Or at least the remainder who had not already been torn apart.

I'm not sure it's possible for 100 men to grab onto Magilla all at the same time. Maybe 10 men at first? I'm lining up in the back so when I see the first wave of 10, 20, 30 men ripped apart, I'm high-tailing it out of here.

You could have 10 waves of 10 linebackers charge at the gorilla and give him their best shot. That's gotta do some damage. Or Rugby players if going without equipment. Unless it's a Jujitsu Gorilla. Then he definitely gets the edge.

Speaking of strong men, this guy Anatoly is pretty good.

Love the Anatoly lifter shaming videos.

Thanks for brining this back to the top. It might be my favorite off season post, like ever. Lol.

I think I've read that Chuck Norris took on 100 gorillas. None of the gorillas were willing to talk about it.
