10 seconds to go

Up 1 because your odds of winning are increased, I would say its a more uncomfortable feeling being up 1 with the other team having the last shot, because your holding on for a win, of course still have nightmares of 1990 and I will forever, still get chills from the end of the elite 8 in 2011. You always take the lead at the end in any sport. The last 2 superbowls with the Giants I was more at the end with a lead then I was when they were behind and driving for the eventual GW TD, I guess thats just human nature.

Depends on the team doesn’t it? There certainly have been some UConn teams that I would feel really comfortable with their defense. Others less so.

James Bouknight, the other 4 don’t matter.

With 10 seconds to go would rather be up one without the ball or down one with the ball?
To me, it would depend on the mo and more.
Were you up 5 to 10 points a few minutes earlier, or did you just take the lead after being down 5 to 10? Or have you been trading baskets with the opponent for the past 3 minutes?
What's the time out situation? Fouls?
There are so many variables that could enter into how you're going to approach the last 10 seconds. If you have Bazz or Kemba, I think you want the ball more than the lead. If you have Ricky or Lyman, you want the lead because you've got the guy to protect it.

Take the lead.

But I will take being down 1 vs tied and not having the ball.

And so did Valvano in that infamous title game
